My name is Ashley.
I am a wife, a mother and a dyslexia warrior. My only child was diagnosed with dyslexia and dysgraphia at the age of 7 and it was then that I embraced this journey for all it was worth. I know that my child needs me to stand up for him and be his voice, he needs me to make sure I fight for his legal right to FAPE, and, at all costs, he needs me to protect his right to be learning different and be allowed to thrive and be himself while being learning different so he can be all he can possibly imagine himself to be.
I also feel compelled to pay it forward. It’s important that I share my ever increasing knowledge and work to serve others on this journey. We must all know that none of us are alone with dyslexia, that we are a village, a family.
Thanks for coming out to my page and joining me on this journey!
